motor runs for a short time then looses power, will not completly quit, will run about 2000/2500 rpm. have checked all fuel lines and filter's, new stator, What's next?

May need to remove and clean carbs and fuel pump. It could be an Ignition breaking down or a fuel problem, ignition is difficult to troubleshoot and test so might start with cleaning carbs.
