1997 225 efi xxl poppet and thermo replace

Had my poppet blow out last trip which caused water to leak into the engine, resulting in trim tilt switch shorting out, battery drainage, etc.

Anyway, I ordered replacement parts, including thermostats. Is the installation as straight forward as it looks? Any pointers?

It's a simple replacement, shouldn't have any problems.
