I installed a new power head (50 hp ) on my 2000 Sylvan Pontoon boat. I am looking for suggestions on what pitch and number of blades to buy ? It now has a 12 degree on it but it bad needs replacing. Would a 9 degree give me better performance and maybe a four blade ?

Pontoons work better with small pitch props with large diameters to carry heavy loads, 3 blade props seem to work best. Might try a 12 X 10 3 blade
