1994 175hp

It starts and idles fine but under load it boggs out at 2k rpm's it burned up one switch box then the other replaced both still same issue. Wondering if the trigger or stater would cause this? Carb have been gone though. And fuel filter gas lines and plugs and wires all new.

Need to test peak output voltage of stator, trigger coils and test bias voltage at switch boxes.

How do go about fining out what the spec are and what setting do I use on my volt meter thanks?

You would need service manual for specs, would need a peak reading voltmeter to read peak output voltage.
