250 pro xs cracked block

Looking for some help I have 2007 250 the number 2 cyl wall is cracked. has any one heard of the crack being caused from factory when they press the cyl. sleeve in. There are no over heat codes in history and it does not show any sings of a heat related event hat would of caused this. any info would be great. trying to work with mercury to see if they will help me out i just bought the boat in may. the crack is about 4 oclock
