    new to forum have a 1994 mercury 150 xri/efi it will start run for a while then bog down this problem started a week ago put it in drive went about 20 yards and stalled again and again took it to my local marine shop they noticed my tac wasnt working checked and said my voltage regulator or regulators need replacing 1 would this create the problem iam having i replaced fuel filter & sensor and fuelpump is working properly or 2 would it be my vst needs cleaning or what do you think could be wrong any sugestions would appricated or do i need to take it to some one else iam in michigan thanks is it easy to clean vst tank? OR Is it something i schould have a mechanic do

    Regulator should cause it bogg, unless battery is below 10 volts. Probably will need to remove and clean VST, not hard to do.
