Are you certain the alarm sounding is the oil alarm? Have you tried disconnecting the float switch?

yes. but it still beeps.. is there a float of some type inside the tank its self. when we put a wire inside and moved it along side the switch the beep stops.

      thanks

Unfortunately the float for that switch is located in the tank. It is very common for the float in the tank to be the issue. You would have to change the tank to get the float.
