Hi All,
Can someone please help a not too savvy mechanic but definetly a
boating enthusiast!
I currently own a late 60s (68 - 69) Mercury Silver band in line 6
100hp short shart motor.
The motor recently decided to pop a hole through the crank shaft cover
and throw out parts of the number 5 conrod (yay for us). Since then I
have recently been offered a late 80s (88-89) Mercury 115hp Brown band
motor with a missing leg. Does anyone know if I can use my existing
(late 60s) short shaft leg on a newer (late 80s) head?
