I have an older 8horse trolling motor which is not sucking water to cool the engine. Probably the empeller bad. How do I determine by looking at the serial number how old this motor is?
Usually Mercury does not require year. There is no why by looking at the serial number to determine year. If you have the serial number I maybe able to give you the year.
