Just picked up a 1995 Mariner 9.9hp longshaft, only issue is the guy i got it from did not have the tiller. Is it possible to get a tiller assembly some where if so can someone help me with part #s. There is a rod attached that appears to be some sort of steering part.
Also he installed electric start but gave no info on the wires hanging out the front of the case. it appears to have a plug of some sort and a few other wire. Any idea how and where to connect.
It came as just the motor so I know I need a gas tank and lines, what kind of fittings do i need to look for to make this connection.

Sorry for all the questions and rambling but this is the first motor I have bought and feel really lost right now. I would just like to get it running but have no clue how to connect throttle, gear position, or steering. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Is this a four stroke model, whats the serial number?
