Default Need Help PLEASE

I have a 2005 mercury XR6 150 on my 2006 24 foot 3 toons Bentley pontoon
the problem is the alarm keeps going off all the time ( over heatting ) every since I had this motor put on the dealer here has tryed everything
if I idel around it goes off - if I go slow it goes off - n if I go half throttle it goes off - the only way it will not go off is full throttle - I have even changed props - put on a set of side covers that help force water into the water inlets - raised the motor - lowered the motor - the dealer here has said they have had problems with the 3 toon pontoon boats doing this - does anyone have any idea what I can do - they tell me there is nothing wrong with the motor so im stuck with it - I got over $29,000 in this boat - n im to the point of saleing it

Might contact Bentley to see if they have had overheat problems and if they have any solutions.

i have had sim prob on my opti 150 2001 i put new impellers nothing, new thermostat nothing went to west marine talked about my prob the manger showed me a product called salt away i really was in denial but tried it and flushed my motors 5x each the stuff is so strong it requires a 20 sec flush only believe it or not it did the job. speaking of that im in the same prob now . ps at idle ur o/h slow speed o/h not on high rev's sounds like time for therm and impellers. also yes lifting and lowering ur motor would of made a diff in speed not in temp if anything shalow water pickups should of been a option but ur boat is not a speed boat when was the last time u changed the imp/ therm
