motor runs, quits, cools, then runs, ??

I have a 1990 60 hp Mariner. The motor will run fine for about 1/2 hour at any speed, then just stop as if out of gas. Then does either not get any gas or spark. After about 1/2 hour of cooling, it will start right up, and then only run for about 1/2, and same procedure. any ideas?

Try repriming fuel primer bulb, try choking it, check for spark at spark plugs when it shuts down.

check water impeller, sound like it is getting hot, then starts when cool
