I have a 150 HP Mariner, when I bought it I was told it was a year 1995 motor, The lower unit has gone out on it and I am looking for a lower unit for it, was told by a Mercury guy it's a 1985 not 95 year motor..... I need to find out for sure so I can get another lower unit for it.

Yes your Mariner is a 1985. If it has the black long shaft gear case, the following link should assist you.
