Default 115 1995 Mariner Oil Switch Question

I have a 4 cyl 115 1995Mariner outboard (cer OG178039) and the oil sensor alarm is not stopping. I have checked all electrical and decided it is the Oil Warning Module (14857A13). But I need to confirm that the Oil Switch Assembly (12886A-6) is a normally opened contact and not closed?
Can you confirm whether this switch is normally open or normally closed

Just to confirm this is the switch in the bottom of the injector oil storage tank which monitors low oil in storage tank.

Thank you
Mark

The required part for you motor is th 12886A6. There are no factory notes on the switch position.
