Default Rotten aluminium between cyls. no head gasket support..

What is the best way to fix washed out aluminum between cylinder sleeves? I have a 50hp force and it seems the salt has got the best of the block. There is no support for the head gasket now, and I would like to find a way to restore this washed out area (at the thinnest point between cylinders). Basicly the alu. is all pitted and no longer supports the head gasket at the cooling channel. I am in the process of replacing the gasket, but in no way am I going to put it in till the pitting is fixed. Any ideas? My attempt is going to be JB Weld, unless a master here has a better idea. Any 2 cents welcome.
