I'm replacing seals in my lower unit of my 91 force after I found oil on the floor under the motor. I will need to get the retaining ring out of the prop housing. Is there any way to do this with out a special tool? If I need a tool where can I get one.

If has the two piece gear housing then can remove with slide hammer puller.
