Default low idle problems

I have a 1996 75hp mercury force 3 cyclinder . I have problems with the motor idling in netural. The problem appears to be a fuel issue. I have rebuild the carb, rebuild fuel pump, new primer bulb and fuel filter. When the motor is started it runs for a while and the primer bulb will not stay hard and if I pump the bulb it will get hard again and run. also this moter has a different style spark plug with a flat front chanpion QL76v, can this plug be changed to a normal type. I would appreicate any help.

Could still be a problem with fuel pump or air leak in fuel hoses or connections between engine and fuel tank.
It list two plugs that can be used, Champion L76V or QL76V
