Default idles good but run eratic
Dear friends,
the voltage reg. went bad and burnt the wiring harness. I replaced the reg. and harness but now runs poorly at higher speeds. 2001 Mercury 50 HP Ser.#OT358635 50 ELPTO. can anyone help me with this problem?

Test the high speed coil.
