I Just Replaced The Water Pump On My Merc 150xr6 Its A 1999 Has Maybe 35 Hrs Of Run Time Since New It Was Pumping The Last Time I Ran It Last Year I Put 3 New Gaskets Back On The Way They Came Off Turned The New Impeller In Clockwise Like They Say Do And I Have Had It Apart I Know 10 Times Messing With It And All Water Inlets Are Clean And All Hoses And Pee Hole Are Open Any Info Would Be A Big Help also my steering is hard to turn i took the cables off and cleaned the rods and it still is real tight what should i do to fix it outside of replacing it thanks

If you are running on flusher, then put it in water and try, if still have problems then may need to replace water pump housing as well.
May need a new steering cable, cable may be bad.

The Housing Is New Also THATS WHAT I DID I PUT THE MOTOR IN THE WATER AND STILL NOT PUMPING I THINKTHE STEERING IS SEEZED UP FROM NOT BEING USED IS THERE SUMTHING YOU CAN PUT ON THE RODS TO MAKE IT ANY EASIER
