I have a 2006 250 PRO XS. I lowered the motor today and when it got about 70% down it quit. It will not go up or down, but do hear a clicking sound when hitting the trim button. I have taken all cables off of the battery and re attached, fully charged the battery and nothing. For a fraction of a second when I tried the trim again it began to go up but immediately quit again. I found fuses in the motor which are all OK. Any ideas???

Check battery to see if has 12 volts.
Could be bad trim motor or bad relays, you can disconnect trim motor wires(blue and green) from trim relays and connect green wire to positive battery post and blue wire to negative battery post trim motor should run and trim outboard down, reverse blue and Green wire connection to battery post and should trim up. If it does trim motor is ok, replace both trim relays.

Thanks....battery was fine and it appears that the trim motor is OK. Will replace the relays and see what happens.
