Tiller to Remote Conversion

I am looking at a used 2004 9.9 mercury, long shaft, tiller with manual start -- to be used as a kicker. But I want to convert the tiller to remote operation, including steering. I know that mercury offers a remote control kit (881170a4) for manual start motors but what additional parts will I need? I want to tie the steering with my main motor which is also a Mercury (115)

If this a two stroke 9.9hp then you would need
42805A 6 REMOTE CONTROL ATTACHING KIT to convert motor to remote control operation.
You can install a Auxiliary motor steering kit between the 115 and the 9.9 for steering 9.9, have a choice of
892763A13 Zinc steering kit or
892763A16 Stainless steel steering kit

I have a 2004 4 stroke 9.9 not a 2 stroke.

The 4 stroke uses 856553A 2 remote control attachment kit

When I checked this website for parts, kit that was listed was 895284A02 not 856533A2. Will either work for tiller to remote conversion?

Might list your serial number so we can verify which model you have.

OK -- Here's the problem. The serial number is OR147966 and the motor is a 2006 8hp. I received the wrong information from the seller. I believe that's why the remote conversion kit numbers are different. Given this new (and correct information) what do I need to convert tiller to remote? I apologize for the misinformation.

there is little bit problem about 895284A02 CONVERSION KIT may i use Manual Tiller or it will create problem.
