I have a 1984 Mercury 60 HP. I recently started it in the driveway but it killed after about 15 seconds. I tried to restart it but got nothing. I couldn't even get the push in choke to work. It was as if my battery was completely dead. However when I tried jumping the solenoid, it instantly tried to start. I changed the ignition switch and the solenoid and still can get nothing. Any ideas??? Could it be the power pack and if so where is it??? Thanks, David
