Hi, this is my first time on your forum. My name is Norm from northern MN. The problem that was brought to me is a Sport Jet 120 H120J01RD ser# 0E099752 which I beleive to be a 1995. It died and won't refire. Checked for spark with the spark plugs, compression, and fuel. So far so good I figured, until I looked in his service manual and noticed the gap required for the spark test and found no spark. Proceeded to test stator and found something that I couldn't identify between switch box and stator, along with the fact that the red/red white wires are not used not allowing me to perform the last stator test. So, the gissmo plugs into the blue and blue/white wires and changes to green/white and white/green coming from the stator. Tested ohms reading and got 674 both before gissmo and after but book is showing 6800-7600 ohms. Now I looked in the wiring diagram and the parts break down and to my surprise couldn't locate the gissmo. Would that mean that it has ben updated with new style at one time and requires differant specs. or what am I missing during my tests. HELP!!!
