I had to replace a snap rod on a 20hp four stroke motor. The part allows the motor to tilt up in run position. This piece fell off and I got a new one. I want to know why this part is made out of plastic. It is the only plastic piece on the whole tilt assembly. I bought extras since I plan on fishing in Quebec where there are plenty of hazards on the lake. I dont understand the logic.
