Default Smartcraft gauges

I just replaced my 25 hp to a new 2008 60 hp 4 stoke bigfoot on a pontoon boat, should I invest the money and buy a smartcraft gauge for this motor? I have a tach, water pressure gauge, volt meter and gas gauge and no more room to install another gauge. Should I remove the tach and put a smartcraft gauge in there.and will it give info like water temp, pressure, oil temp, pressure and trim and can I hook up a speedo pick up for it? Thanks for any input.

Only big advantage to switch is the engine hour meter which the SC1000 System Tach does display rpm, water pressure, engine temp, engine hours and trim angle.

So what do I need to make this work from motor to Smartcraft tach with no other gauges hooked to system? I will leave the other analog gauges hooked up as is, volt meter, water psi and battery voltage...So do I need a junction box? Or can I run a 20 foot harness straight from the motor to tach and with or without resistor?
