Default remote control
I have a yr 2000 four stroke fifty HP merc. Would like to convert it to remote control and steering. Have been told this is not possible. Is there any way at all? Please respond by email. Don

They list a remote conversion kit(880093A 1) for 2001 and newer, serial number 0T178500 and up but nothing for a 2000 model.

No I'm not aware of any aftermarket kits available.
