I have a 06 Merc 25HP 4stroke with a bent prop shaft. Can the shaft be straitened,it's only out about 1/8". Is it something I can do, or does it need to go to the dealer. Any good source for the part. Any info would help.

An 1/8" is a lot of bend. You can buy a new shaft for a little over $100.00, not sure what machine shop would charge but probably not worth it.

If its bent once, it will soon bend again.
Replace it with a new one.
