I am rebuilding a 1980-81 80 HP Merc outboard and would love to know if there are any hop ups for these motors. I do not want to sacrifice reliablility though.
The motor is already bored .030 o/s, with a later model crank with the later rods. I probably have all the motor I need now anyway, but more is always better, right?
