Older 7.5 hp Merciry ID
Buying old boat/trailer set up and seller offered to throw in a 7.5 Merc that has been sitting 5 years for an xtra couple skins. Asked for numbers over phone and got " 337 are the first three numbers, and last four are 4571" Is this a 1972? Made in US or Canada or does it matter for ordering parts? I guess I should order carb,impeller,diapram(s), thermostat to start IF it has compression. Kind of new to outboards, but enjoy fishing and bringing old stuff back to life. Thanks in advance, oth
