Hello, new guy here. I have a 2002 40hp Merc and a 2006 60hp Mercury both efi and I only have the owners manual for the 06 60hp motor. I need to service both engines, all fluids, winterize etc and I need to know if the capacities and type of fluids and procedure is the same for both motors. The motors look identical although one is about 50 lbs heavier. I s there anywhere online I can get the data for these motors. I do not want to mess these engines up with not enough oil etc. Correct me if I am wrong here, Mercury doesn't care about years?. Thanks for any help.

I recommend obtaining the service manual for all the exact proceedures, however the service process is the same for the both.
