I have a 150 Black Max with serial number 6607771 possibly 84 or 85. Can you tell me what model and year it is? Thanks for your help.

It's a 1984 model year,Model number 1150624.

I am having trouble with the 150 not accelerating. It seems like it is unable to burn the fuel. It idols fine but when you accelerate it boggs down and wants to stall. If you feather the throttle some time it will accelerate but most of the time it just boggs out. Replaced the plugs but no change. Could it be the stator and or trigger?

Check timing and throttle linkage synchronization. Might need to clean carbs.
