My 1989 90HP merc has developed a bad stator. A new one will kill $400.00 real fast. Checked on www & ebay and found a replacement stator that cover several OEM model #'s. If this is the case, will a OEM part# 398-832075A3 replace the actual OEM part# 398-832075A5. This is somewhat confusing as the aftermarket stator will replace the ..75A3 to the ..75A12. HELP!!
