Default mercury optimax problem

I have 2 225 2004 Mercury Optimax engines. On one of the engines the oil tank is half full. It is empty on the half with the sensor. What could be wrong? Thanks!

I checked the other engine and it doesn't have oil on the sensor side either. So, I guess it's not supposed to. The engine lost power suddenly at 3500rpm's. Engine alarm did come on when I reved the engine but it ran normal temperature. Any suggestions? Anything I can check?

I replaced a blown 20amp fuse. Could a blown fuse cause power loss?

I took the boat to the shop today and it is the oil tank. Thanks for the response!
