With this engine we have replaced the fuel pump diaphram as a regular maintenance item. We are able to get fuel to flow from pumping the bulb into the fuel pump housing when it is removed from the engine however when the housing is placed into position and fastened again fuel does not get beyond into the filter screen inlet side of the diaphram housing.My suspect is that there is a check valve perhaps stuck inside the fuel pump housing. How do I clear this?Or what could be causing the fuel to not advance past the pump housing?
