Default mercury 115 efi fourstroke oil leak

A few days ago I spent all day out on the river and everything was fine. The motor ran great and there was no issues. However as we were putting the boat on the trailer we noticed that a small amount of oil was leaking into the water. After closer inspection we discovered that the oil was coming out of the exhaust port and running out the side of the engine above the lower unit. The oil looked clean however we have not been able to determine the exact location of the leak and any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to boating and I dont know if this is normal after pushing the boat hard for a few hours.

No this is not normal. If it is a fourstroke you should not see oil anywhere. There must be a leak somewhere. Verify your drain plug is tight.
