Default issues in 99 merc 9.9?
Any issues to be aware of that are chronic in the 9.9 mercury outboards made in 99?

9.9 has a history of carboning the exhaust tube and won't open up but will idle as long as it is not completely plugged. caused by a lot of trolling and not running full throttle after trolling.

Just run some sea foam .. And that will keep the carboning down minamal
