convert tiller to remote

I have a 2000 25hp fourstroke bigfoot merc outboard motor, I was wondering if there was a cheap way to convert this tiller motor to a remote setup. And if so, how?

You can a remote conversion kit(M-859186A 1) to convert motor to a remote model. The control box would depend on if it's a electric start or manual. If you want remote steering you will need 816667A 2 Steering bracket.

The side mount control box would be M-881170A 4 and would need 2 control cables M-87777A__, replace __ with length cables needed.
