It ran like a champ,many times for long periods of time,but then all of the suden it quit,no spark,,,but the next day i went to try it,,and it fired up,,for 5 min,,then died again,,no spark,,,whats wrong

Most likely a thermal intermittant in the switchbox or the trigger. Time to replace one.

Or perhaps a loose wire if your real lucky.
