i have a 1982 mercury 7.5 two cyl two stroke.i lost power on one cyl.so i switch coil still no power to that cylinder.replace spark plugs still no power.check compression 110psi in both cyl.i have spark to both plugs when they are out of the cyl head.spark plug in? isgetting wet when you run it but no power.I have spark and fuel and compression it should fire that cyl i think?.can anyone help.what about a cdi box or switch can it be tested.or what about reed valves.it is hard to start.can anyone help me. thank you joe

It may getting too much fuel on that cylinder. The only way to test ignition componets is with a peak reading volt meter to test CDI output and stator output.
