The cylinder housing on our power trim split down the middle. It seems the only way to repair this is to just buy the housing. It weights 2.7lbs. The cylinder ram isn't included as far as I can tell, yet they still want 320.00 to 400.00 for this assy. Part #811228A1 needs replacing. Where would I find the whole cylinder/ram assy to just unbolt and replace?
I looked through the parts books and don't see it available in the complete assy. It does fit 50-60 hp Mercury and Mariner models up to the EFI models if there is anybody out there with a used one.
