Cool 5hp Clutch Spring

Great site! I just ordered parts from your site for my 5 hp 2stoke gear case. I'm confused about the location of the retainer item #26 on the parts page. Does it go against the cam follower (like the drawing shows) or on the other side of the pin against the clutch spring?

From the drawing it goes againt the clutch pin,it would prevent wear to pin from cam follower when propshaft is spinning.

Default Thanks

Thank you. I was confused because I've seen it referred to as a spring retainer. In fact, it never touches the spring. Thanks again.
