4 Stroke Idle Problem

Purchased a new 15 HP outboard last month and just installed it on the dinggy today. Filled the fuel tank with 93 octane hooked up everything only to fine out the motor will not idle unless the choke is out. Called the company where I purchased it from and waiting to hear back. The motor runs fine on the high end but stalls when back brought back to idle. Sounds like a carb to me. Any thoughts.

Does sound like the carburetor, you should bring it back and have the repair the problem.
