Default 25HP Hub Problem
I think I spun the hub out - it runs at low throttle (forward or reverse). When you rev up the engine the boat speed slows down. How do I test or confirm the problem is with the hub. Will a 1998 25 HP yamaha prop fit my 1993 25 HP Mecury?

You can scribe a line across the hub of prop and prop nut, run motor and check to see if lines are still lined up. If not hub is slipping.
