I've got a 25HP 2007 Merc Seapro 2-stroke International. It's got a restrictor plate between the engine and carb that cuts off at least 60% of the air/fuel flow. I'm then assuming that this must be a 25/30HP series engine. Does anyone know if removing the restrictor would be the only difference between the two engine sizes, or are there ignition and/or prop differences as well. Thanks.
