2005 mercury 6hp 4 stroke

Motor died, I'm getting no spark. Would stator under flywheel be the culprit? Please help thanks. I'm at a loss when it comes to electrical.

The Stator could be the problem, however I recommend obtaining a service manual and testing all the electrical components. The stator can be checked, however the CDI cannot. Before starting check to make sure your kill switch is not the culprit.

It's not the kill switch. I'm getting spark but looks weak. Maybe the garb is clogged up..bowl has gas. Ugh I hate motors. Thanks. How much is the manual for this motor? 2005 6hp 4stroke mercury longshaft. It's my sailboat kicker motor.
