2004 Merc 75hp 4stroke vs 90hp 4stroke

Can someone tell me the difference in these two outboards. It seems that all the parts are the same. What makes the 90hp a 90? I have a 75 and wouldn't mind bringing it up to a 90 if it is an easy task.
