2001 60HP, 4-stroke Merc. Non-EFI Bigfoot Voltage Regulator
Could a bad or going bad voltage regulator cause rough idle and running problems? Does the voltage regulator affect the enricher coil output from the stator ?
Thanks

If regulator had a short in it it may affect the stator output which could affect prime starter system.
