Default 2000 250EFI Bogging issues

Hi All,

I have a 2000 250 EFI saltwater that will run fine for a while at all RPMS suddenly in will Bog to the point where it will throw you forward a few feet if you are going wide open, if you back down on the throttle immediately it will stay running if you don't touch the throttle it will shut down. Starts back up fine but will not get back up to speed for a while. Everything to me says fuel. I have cleaned the straw in the tank the gas vent fuel filter water separator everything fuel related with no success. I am at a loss for ideas anyone have any ideas...

Thanks,
John

Check the float, needle and seat located inside the VST. If the VST runs low on fuel the high pressure pump will starve for fuel.
