Default 1998 manual start 40hp 4 cyl
question is..... can i simply add a starter to this engine plus wiring to make it an electric start?......it has the mounting brackets on the engine already. thnx for your help

I don't see a 4 cylinder 40hp listed in 1998. The electric start conversion kit for a 1998 40hp 2 cyl. engine is part number 822462A 4.
