Ok my freind has let his boat sit in the driveway for 3 years and decides now he wants to use it we put it on the muffs it started right up. idled fine for about 10 min then died. started right back up and ran for 2 min then died had 1/4 tank of gas with stabil in it.(by the way he didnt tell me that the gas was 3 yrs old untill after we took it to the gas staion and put 8 gallons in it with a can of seafoam) took it to the ramp started right up gave it gas and she boggs real bad and dies primer bulb is is soft so pump it back up and she runs at 1800 rpms great then starts to bogg again. look back and no water coming out of pee hole oh crap shut it down wait 5 min start it up still no water throttle it up to 2k rpms bam pee hole has water coming out. she runs for 10 min and dies.

okay is the water thing normal?

and do you think its a bad diaphram causing the fuel problem?
any help would be appreciated!

Well i new here and new to boating,so dont have much knowledge about this thing.its better that you ask someone who knows it properly.

Probably need to remove and clean carbs, may need fuel lines and filters replaced. Do need to replace water pump, the impeller will probably break apart if hasn't done it already.

ok Now I replaced the impeller, the water fuel seperator, all the fuel lines new primer bulb. and the damn thing still wont hold prime? anyone with a suggestion will be greatly appreciated. It will not hold prime while in idle but will hold when on plane ( half throttle only not wot) half of the time.

I fixed the problem just needed a fuel pump rebuild took me abot 35 min took it to the ramp ran like a bat outta hell gotta love it when things get done finally!!
